It took long enough but we made it back to Brooklyn all in once piece.
Rain, rain go away…
Dinner at Primo…its gonna be delicious….
Today is the final day of bear, moose, and deer hunting season.
We all ate so much food last night. And still at almost 1PM the next day no one is hungry.
Pig skins in the freezer! Some had hair!
We are at the airport picking up Sam & Jared in Portland.

What I want to know is why no one has taken me ‘Deer Hunting for Locavores’ while on my many trips to Charlottesville.
Mara has become obsessed with trying to find a chair for her apartment. She really needs some more seating options but chair hunting is not easy as we have learned over the past year and a half. Anyone have any insider scoop on the chair front?
Are we there yet?
and we’re heading northwards. The car is very packed and there is hardly enough room for us.
We are waiting for Maria to meet us so we can head to Ikea. It is nice to go to Ikea with someone a little Swedish. Mara needs to pick up some more picture frames so that we can finish the project we started in Maine last month. And Mara & Maria are also helping Maria’s sister with a framing project and we need to get frames for that too!
We are going to Maine for Thanksgiving and we leave tomorrow. Today will be spent packing and gathering.
Yeah….So if someone wants to outsource Mara’s bitching, complaining, yelling and aggravation please let me know. Clearly she has no proper outlet right now and it is really exhausting me.

This should be my cue to ‘call in sick’ tomorrow but I know it is times like these when Mara really needs me the...
Christmas has arrived early! Mara got me a pen with my name on it!
maybe you want to go somewhere: jetblue sample sale one day only!
Mara has a habit of buying ‘strange’ gadgets in high hopes of using them in her artwork. In most cases the novelty of it, far surpasses any of its ability to really function in her work. However on rare occasions she finds a perfect use for these ‘toys.’ Today she got cracking on one of her eureka moments with a paper puncher she acquired a year ago when we were in...
Mara’s book club meets tonight and Mara has not finished the book. Yup. I am outing her right here! While I was scanning the drawings she got caught up in coloring them in and then when she finished coloring she had a collage project that had been ‘burning a hole in her pocket’ for the past 2 weeks that we needed to tackle ASAP. Maybe if she decides to spend the next 3 hours...
Many of you might have thought we were just running around California and Virginia last week but Mara was also busy making some drawings. This morning it is my job to get all of them scanned into the computer.
