Tornado warning… And I’m not even in Brooklyn.
We love our mobile office. Our productivity today has sky rocketed. Plus the news of tube-free toilet paper has BLOWN our minds.
And back to work. We are plugged in and on-line and have set up our mobile office on the 1st floor of the VCU library.
Of course today we forget the computer power chord at home and now have internet access at the library but not very much computer power.
Yesterday afternoon we cleaned Lowes out of clothespins when we bought the 350 they had in stock. Today we are picking up the 576 that they have in stock at Pleasants Hardware. Word on the street that there is a crazy lady buying up all the wooden spring clothespins in Richmond, Virginia. Hide your children.
UPDATE: we are barely connected to the internet. If this does not get solved it is going to be a very long and pretty unpleasant week.

We made it to Virginia safely and Mara and I are in the VCU library trying to get some things sorted out, I would like to mention that a careless garbage truck tried to hit us on our walk to the library. We are also experiencing some computer internet connection problems at the library and well as you imagined that is only brighting up our day.

I am very proud to tell you that I can officially tell you that we will be hanging over 1,500 prints and drawings on paper down to Charlottesville for Mara’s upcoming show. Yes friends, OVER 1,500 works on paper.

Currently I am assembling Team Sprafkin for our install at Second Street in Charlottesville, Virginia from November 2nd-5th. There is a lot of work but really the install is where the magic really happens. I need a good, strong, spunky team to get this done.

My mental health has been restored after the long weekend and despite what seemed to have been a fun filled girls weekend with perfect weather in Rhode Island for Mara, I can’t say the same for her. She seem much more aware of her crappy, cranky attitude so she keeps apologizing for it but believe you me it doesn’t make it that much better.

3 weeks. This is the point before any show that Mara starts having anxiety dreams. This in turn increases her levels of anxiety and for someone who is spending the entire next month with Mara, well you can just imagine how enjoyable this quality time is for us both.
