Mara and I have a full day at MoMA today with her students. We are both looking forward to it. It has been a while since either of us as been for a visit and Mara is pretty excited about taking her students through the permanent collection. Some of them have never been!
This is SO EXCITING. I can’t tell you why but Mara and I have to go to the rescue!

Mara is card making this afternoon. Many of you know Mara makes homemade cards for everyone for just about every occasion. This morning we awoke to a blizzard and now it is sunny and clear. I know I am stating the obvious but I feel like weather seems to be consuming all of our lives and daily conversations these days.

United States Postal System, You were asked to simply mail a priority envelope from downtown Brooklyn to Williamsburg in a timely manor. Mara even paid extra for delivery confirmation. It has been over a week and your system has stopped tracking the envelope. I’m sorry folks. It has been a rough morning ‘round here. I should only need to tell you lunch was not eaten till 1:30 and that was the first food Mara ate all day. So yes, as one might imagine, Mara’s low blood sugar level just made everything this morning much more awesome.
I am happy to report that an egg and cheese and a fig newton later we are back on track like any normal...

Crisis under control. Mara has a new power cord for her computer.
I call bullshit on emergency VIP status at apple store soho.
Mara’s computer power adapter started burning up from the inside. We’re off to the apple store because apple headquarters has cleared us with VIP emergency help status.

We don’t need new snow. We still have the old snow.
Mara sent me home. She has hit the peak of her frustration. Currently it is every man for himself and I am the only man around and well I saw this as my opportunity to escape alive.

Today feels much colder than the past few days. Perhaps because the sun is not really shining so brightly. I just forced Mara to jack up the heat instead of putting on a hat, scarf and gloves while we are INSIDE.

Last night was a night of burger testing/tasting. I am sorry I forgot to take a picture of the most delicious hose special two8two burger but I scarfed it down to fast to snap a photo. I think Mara scarfed hers down even faster than me.
Let me tell you we will all be in for a treat when two8two opens up this spring on Atlantic Avenue.
