It is really hard being an artist. I have more sympathy and appreciation for Mara’s pre show stress. It is almost the 11th hour and Mara is holding my hand at Kinkos to keep me from flipping out.
And yes, we are in a Kinkos in midtown Manhattan and I might have a panic attack.

Sorry for the pause in posting. These have been a crazy few days for all of us. Mara’s parents came down to Charlottesville for a little Charlottesville engagement party and that on top of Grant’s bachelor weekend, Mara and I heading out of town for the next 4 weeks and my upcomming show you can only imagine how chaotic things are. We are in the process of mixing things up here on the blog. I’m going to test out this new blog format. Let me know what you think. You are the people who read it and I want you to like it. Yes, I am a people pleaser today.
And we are moving. A bit behind schedule but happy to be on the road…oops, tracks. See you in seven hours or less New York!

npr's word of the day: derecho →
This is the type of storm that hit us late Friday night. We really got lucky to not loose power but most everyone else did and not everybody has gotten it back yet.
