I know, I am the worst. I have left you hanging for too long. We drove back down to Charlottesville on Sunday. So the days leading up to Sunday were busy running around going to holiday parties in NY and packing. And then since we got back we have been unpacking. We transported Mara’s whole art book collection (that has been in boxes for WAY TOO LONG) down here and it looks like Mara, Grant and I might have a large scale book shelf building project in our not so distant future. 

Mara is also pretty excited to have her own set of wheels now and the possibilities are endless except that Mara, in her fear and distaste of large crowds, doesn’t want to go anyplace there might be holiday shoppers. 

That said tonight is the first night of Hanukah. We are going to eat latkes. Yum.
